Katie has the reputation of being an adventurer and an inspiring entrepreneur. Her Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems and her passion for sewing give her the understanding and creativity that is needed in both industries. She has a successful computer consulting business and utilizes that success to motivate everyone in the home sewing industry. Her teaching style is down-to-earth and people love learning from her.

Katie is available for training events and motivational speaking.  Katie's new book, "Digital Photo School for Quilters and Crafters" will be available in Fall 2008.  She has been teaching Photoshop Elements techniques to sold out venues and loves sharing photo prep and printing secrets to the home sewing and crafting markets. Katie has also co-authored the "Pillow Talk" book with the home sewer in mind. This book she co-authored with Pam Damour is now its second printing!  Katie also enjoys publishing articles, which showcase her embroidery software, sewing, and computer abilities. She also produces professional, instructional how-to CDs and DVDs for others and has recently been invited to assist on the set of the television show "While You Were Out."
